A few months ago, I connected with someone I thought was a random friend of a friend on Facebook. Turns out her husband went to my high school and dated the same devil incarnate girl as my husband had. Small world.
We found an instant friendship – Jen is incredibly witty, sarcastic in the best way, talented, outspoken in ways that make me want to ::fist pump:: her on a daily basis, and sweet to boot. She also owns her own business, Jen Swedhin Photography, in Grand Junction, Colorado. (Find her on Facebook and Twitter as well.)
Before we moved from Denver, she offered to drive 4 hours to do our photos. I planned them for right after Sam got home from 4 months in Georgia. They were taken at the park Bella and I had spent hours playing in the previous months. We were days from moving to El Paso, so these photos captured so many memories of a place and time I loved dearly.
Jen did an amazing job. I couldn’t have asked for someone with more talent and patience. My only regret was we didn’t find each other sooner, but thank goodness for Facebook. I am blessed to have such a wonderful friend in my life. If you happen to be in her area, I highly recommend her.

AWWW super cute! I love these. I need to have some done soon. I’m waiting for the weather to cool down here in NC so that I’m not all super sweaty.. or have a repeat of last year when I tripped and busted my ankle during family photos… old frozen bags of breast milk are good for that, by the way..
