Life as it happens.

It’s cold. Sam sleeps beside me. I hear Bella playing in her room, her tiny voice reading the books she’s chosen. I have a kitty purring at my feet, lasagna soup waiting to be made, and a day as just us three at home by the fire.

I don’t deserve this. Any of it. But God saw fit to bless me with my little life anyway.

I am humbly reminded to be thankful for the here and now.

And I am.
