All of the sudden.

It just happened. Military Family is my sponsor (huge shout out to them and their awesomeness), and I’m really and truly going!

I didn’t think I would – mostly because I was supposed to be hugely pregnant and all. So then I just kinda gave up on the idea after I lost the boys. I was sad that I wouldn’t get to go, to be with all of you that, this year especially, I’ve grown to know so much better. And so many of you who weren’t able to go last year are going. I was really sad.

But now I am. I’m rooming with Rebecca, who I met and loved last year (and maybe a couple others but I’ll hold off on announcing them till they give me the OK). SO excited that she’s going to be my awesome roomie. We are going to tear that place up in our mom jeans.

I am going to warn you – seeing me may not be pretty. We don’t have money for new clothes and fancy shoes and I’m still a bit porky – so love me as I am all. I’m taking my poor self to see all of you and the Big Apple and we’re going to have an amazing time.

I’ll see you in two weeks – you better be ready to be squeezed. HARD.
