Week 2 of MFP: Nailed it.
So this week on MyFitnessPal I buckled down, entered my food, exercised, and gave it my very best.
And I lost 4.5 lbs.
::throws confetti::
I AM SO EXCITED.
I’m down to 164.4!
Here’s what changed:
Even though I didn’t respond to each comment, I read each and every one – I always do. Promise. And they stuck with me, the basic words of “You can do this, it works, keep going.” Then a few jumped out about how any successful plan to be healthier takes work, Weight Watchers also requires me to enter my meals, and this one in particular from Jen:
“It is painful and I keep telling myself it shouldn’t have to be this hard but then I ask myself one simple question- Do I want to be right or successful?”
That was in my head all week. I want to be healthy, to not have to go buy new clothes, to lose the extra baby weight that really isn’t good for me to have. I don’t want to be a stick, I simply want to feel better.
So between yoga and my Tony Little Gazelle (yes, all the way back to the very beginning of Beth Anne’s McFatty Monday’s) I worked out almost every day this week. And I entered all the ingredients (I found out just entering the food and not things like spices make it easier – obviously) then did my best to calculate how much it would be.
When I had no idea – like on my crockpot chicken tortilla soup the other night? I typed it in, picked one that was close, and went a half serving up just to be safe.
BOOM. It worked.
I think my only question this week would be: how do you exercise in the heat? What do you do inside – or when do you go outside? It was 106* here almost every day that week and it was brutal.
Soooo, how did you all do? Have you just started – what week are you on? Hitting any frustrations? Have a recipe to share with us you’d like to link to? (We should do that!) You can find me as lifeasaSAHM on myfitnesspal.

FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!
I’m glad you’re finding a groove and seeing results.
I’m struggling with exercising right now too. It’s been it the high 90′s with high humidity for at least two weeks…running with the babe is definitely out. I’ve been doing my normal toning routine and adding in some jumping jacks for some cardio until I can get back to running. I’m thinking I’ll try to run after the babe goes to bed but the humidity needs to come down before I attempt it.
