Lily Jade: The Everything Designer Bag

When Bella and I go somewhere, we take a lot of stuff with us. Camera, iPad, face and hand wipes, her toys, little first aid kits, a book or two, and a host of snacks. Which is why I’m a huge fan of big purses. Often they just don’t have enough pockets, so everything ends up in a heap at the bottom while I sort and sift and mumble bad words.

I needed more pockets and more space – but a long lasting purse. Something cute.

Then I discovered the designer diaper bag Lily Jade, which is so much more than your average diaper bag.

Lily Jade Bag Review

I love that I can throw everything in this bag and go, but it’s stylish enough I never feel like I’m lugging around the world inside. Even if I am.

Litter Genie Review: Multiple Cats, High Temps, and All That Fun Stuff

Litter Genie Review with Multiple Cats

We have three cats. Often people seem to gasp at this number, but in all honesty they’re easier than three dogs.

I can’t wrap my head around three of our dog Charlie. I’d lose my mind.

How to Simplify the Last Step of Potty Training

How to Simplify the Last Step of Potty Training

I’ve mentioned before that Bella was amazingly simple to potty train. She’s been completely day time trained for nearly 2 years, nighttime since October, and we’ve never had any major issues with it. There are times she still needs us, and those are mainly when there is a problem with the wipes. We’d bought a few different kinds, but no matter what, she’d leave the lid open or have such a rough time pulling them out they all went at once. Leaving us with a huge stack of wet wipes to try to stuff back in or dry ones to toss.

Our Ultimate #TasteOff Vlog: Yoplait vs. Chobani Greek Yogurts

This article is sponsored by Yoplait, all opinions are my own (and Sam’s, and Bella’s). Grab a coupon for their new Greek yogurt here

We love yogurt. All kinds. I’m a big fan of plain, whole milk yogurt. Gosh I love it. Sam thinks that it is absolutely disgusting that I can eat it right out of the carton without anything on it.

It probably is. I don’t care. He likes pork jerky. ::throws up in mouth::

He loves Chobani® greek yogurt. Bella loves it all.

So when Yoplait® included us in their yogurt #TasteOff for the new Yoplait® Greek Blueberry against the Chobani® Greek Blueberry, I knew it was going to interesting to see which one we picked, but especially for Sam. He takes a Chobani® with him to work every day, and I wondered if he’d be able to tell (blindfolded).

Yoplait vs Chobani Greek Yogurt #TasteOff-1 We decided to do a short vlog on him tasting each yogurt, and the results. Bella loved doing this, even though the first time we tried she smeared yogurt all over him completely and we had to do that again. The Chobani® was the first. Then he took a drink of water. The Yoplait® was the second. He really and truly didn’t know which was which – we had to pause the video for it to all fit in the time span of 15 seconds!

Pork Hominy Soup with Cilantro

Pork Hominy Soup with Cilantro

I’ve used Emeals.com in the past, but had forgotten about them until Pollinate Media reached out with a campaign. Lately I’d been falling behind on meal prep, and we ended up with whatever was in the fridge as I tried to finish up working. Grocery shopping became a nightmare when it took half a morning to plan the weeks food only to spend 2 hours shopping for it.

Working from home full time meant little time for this, but I missed cooking and preparing meals more often than I was getting to.
