21 weeks

21 weeks. Tired Bella. Tired Mama. Both headed to bed. Please to enjoy the bathroom shot.

And if this shot is any indicator, along with having a baby in August, I’ll also be exploding.

Did I mention I actually love being pregnant and huge? I do. I really do.

Things I Can’t {Style} Without: Mom Edition

Friday, December 7th, 2012

I adore Stitch Fix. Here’s why: I’m not a shopper. I’ve admitted it on here before. I just hate going into stores and wandering through aisles, going into dressing rooms, trying to match pieces with other pieces and ending up in with a huge headache from it all.

Yet there is a part of me that does want to look dressed up – not always the mom in jeans and a Target shirt (not that there is anything wrong with that. Target for life.)

So then I found out about Stitch Fix and my style life changed. Basically you go to their site, fill out some questions about your current style, what you want your style to be, what your body shape is, colors you like/don’t like (nix on the leopard or neon), choose a few outfits from some Pinterest type pics, add your budget, and schedule a “fix.”

Dove Visible Care Body Wash & a Chance to Win a $500 Spafinder GC

Friday, July 20th, 2012

When we moved to El Paso last year, my skin went from Colorado soft to Sahara desert dry. I was able to use all organic products there, they might have dried out my skin some but a little lotion now and then fixed that.

Here? I had to start trying all kinds of new products labeled, “Extra Moisturizing”. In fact, it was so bad one of my friends send me lotion in the mail as a joke.

Only the entire bottle was gone in 2 weeks.

So when Dove sent me their Visible Care Body Wash to try out, I honestly wasn’t sure if it would matter any. We have 4% humidity here on a good day unless it’s raining. Would something that gets rinsed off change the tight feeling my skin felt all the time? Could you really get visibly more beautiful skin from a body wash? Wasn’t that a tag line pretty much every skin product used? (more…)

A Gussy Sews “What’s In Your Bag” Link Up!

Thursday, July 19th, 2012

I’m not a “purse” person. Like – I love purses. Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE THEM. But for some reason, they seem to be a luxury I never want to spend money on. I know what I want/need in a purse and it prevents me from buying a new one very often because the kind I like cost a ton. I need a beautiful purse that is also made for a mom of a toddler – but that is also fun and not stuffy.

Champagne tastes on a beer budget.

So when Gussy Sews contacted me about writing for one of her “What’s in Your Bag?” series, I jumped at it. She has absolutely adorable bags that fit my life, needs, and budget. Each one is hand sewn and after having my last one a full year now – I can say that I love how they hold up to what I put it through.

Also they are total eye candy.

Give Me Spanx or Give Me Death.

Saturday, October 8th, 2011

There are certain clothes I own that look better on me with Spanx. Plain and simple. I know that when I wear my Lee Jeans from BlogHer I need to bust out the flab reducer. (Don’t worry, I’m not being compensated to say this. They’re just the smallest pair I own.)

Let’s face it. Everything looks better with Spanx. Especially after kids.

I didn’t ever completely bounce back after being pregnant. My stomach mainly – which bothers me. I lost weight this summer, but it’s still there.

There is no quarter bouncing off it. (more…)
